Chapel Chapel

The chapel was the place of worship for the castle’s inhabitants. It also served as the community center for the castle. In some cases, the lord of the castle had a separate room, a separate floor, or even his own chapel. As the castle got larger, so did the chapel. Some castles would have a large cathedral for the common people, and a separate, private chapel and priest for the lord and his family.
